Software products

One WooNooW installation on the selling store can manage many software products. For software distribution:

• use one parent WooCommerce product and one unique software slug for each separately authorized edition or release stream;
• use variations for pricing, activation limits, usage duration, update/support policy, or other commercial terms within that parent;
• store a source download on a simple parent or on one variation owned by a variable parent;
• publish releases against the parent product, even when the selected artifact comes from a variation; and
• never assume that a license for one parent product authorizes another parent product.
